The BEST Gluten-Free Treats I’ve Tried at Disney World!

One thing about me is that I’m going to have a sweet treat if given the opportunity. Since going gluten free, my treat options have definitely been minimized BUT just within the past 3 months I have already been able to try so many delicious and safe treats at Disney! Before I get into it, I’ll just add that you should always double check before ordering to make sure these items are still safe for you!

  1. Mickey Bar

This is my #1 treat (of what I have tried so far) because it’s such a classic, perfect for cooling off in the Florida heat, and SO easy to find pretty much anywhere you go at Disney!

  • 2. Anything from McKenna’s Bakery

Erin McKenna’s Bakery is located at Disney Springs and has delicious treats that are ALL vegan, gluten free, and Kosher. My favorite so far is the lemon bar! Also an added bonus, if you are ordering a cake, they will deliver it to any sit down restaurant at Disney!

  • 3. Churros at Animal Kingdom

You can find these gluten free churros at the Nomad lounge in Animal Kingdom. It’s a great little space to relax and rest while enjoying delicious drinks and snacks. I want to give these another try because I did feel like they were slightly undercooked in the middle when I tried them, but since I have heard SO many great reviews of these by others, I’ll keep them in third place.

  • 4. Dole Whip

I loved Dole Whip even before going gluten-free so I love still being able to enjoy it now! I recommend trying the pineapple and vanilla swirl flavor (the picture below is a float, which is also delicious!). There are several different locations where this treat is served, but I usually go to Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Resort or Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom when I’m craving some.

  • 5. Macaroons at Epcot

You can find these macaroons along with a few other options (the chef showed me them briefly but I can’t remember what exactly they were) at the Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in France! I got a 6 pack of macaroons for $13.50 and the flavors weren’t listed but I believe they were strawberry, lemon, hazelnut, chocolate, orange, and lime. They had a soft and gooey texture and my favorite was hazelnut. I’m ranking it lower just due to the cost and specific location but if you’re a macaroon lover I say give it a try!

  • 6. Chocolate Bar

This is a great option for those who have several allergies or who prefer pre-packed items. It’s an enjoy life chocolate bar, which is free of 14 allergens! You should be able to find it at resort shops and around the parks. I am ranking it low because it is a basic chocolate bar and if you don’t eat it right away, the chances it will melt are high.

Those are the treats I have tried so far, but there will definitely be more in the future… comment below what I should try next!
